The project at a glance

Context

Developed as a team entry during the Google-supported BanuJam 2025 GameJam and evaluated by an independent jury.

Project overview

Aether Defender is a dynamic defense mini-game that tests reflexes and resource management through the theme of contrasts. The game consists of 4 levels, each embodying the concept of duality and opposition. Players who conquer all 4 levels complete the Contrast Talisman, restoring order to the architect of the universe. Developed as a team effort during a Google-sponsored game jam, this project was evaluated by an independent jury and secured 3rd place among competing teams.

Why this exists

Problem & direction

Problem

The team needed to translate the abstract contrast theme into a coherent, playable game within a short game-jam window.

Goal
